About Will Falk

I write the stories I hear the land telling. These stories can be exquisitely beautiful and excruciatingly painful. Either way, my work is rooted in a love for the natural world. Love is an action and my writing is often tied to organized campaigns or personal efforts to protect the humans and non-humans I love.
Writing honestly on behalf of the natural world rarely pays anything. If you become my patron, you will gain access to my personal and political stories from the environmental front lines as I work in grassroots campaigns. You will also make it possible for me to travel to these front lines, equip myself, and eat while I'm there.

If I reach $700 per month, I will forgo other employment and dedicate myself to finishing my book "Memories for Survival." This book lyrically narrates my experience with major depressive disorder, two suicide attempts, and environmental activism. Ultimately, the book gives courage to those willing to remain honest in the face of horror.
