About Scott Gardiner

I started writing when I was in high school.  It started out as song lyrics for a band that never happened and then morphed into poetry.  Some say that some of my poems read like a song without music, and I am ok with that.

In 2017 I self-published my first book of poetry titled "We Own the Sunset, We Own the Sky".  I also self-published a book of poetry by my friend, musician Jeff Cowell titled "North Wind".  I look forward to self-publishing my next book early in 2018.

Your support will allow me to work toward my goals of publishing more books and embarking on poetry reading tour at open mic poetry nights throughout Canada and the United States.  My plan is to interview and interesting poet at each stop and make a short documentary about the experience.

I have also decided to donate 10% of all contributions to UNICEF Canada in order to give children around the World a chance in life and to achieve their dreams just as I have a chance to achieve my dreams.

The contributions that you make will give me the freedom to devote more time, energy, and resources to my creative pursuits.

Thank you very much for your ongoing support.  I couldn't do it without you.
